Moving into the property development sector Gary joined Sir David Kirch at Channel Hotels & Properties Limited to head up a group of companies. Gary has subsequently built a track record of developing and managing complex property and land transactions including financing through private and institutional investors, negotiated portfolio purchase and sales including complex lease agreements. Gary's experience over many years has resulted in a valuable network of property and landholding contacts supporting the development of opportunities.

Since the late 90’s he has been active in property development and investment having taken the lead on the delivery of a wide range of large scale developments in the UK and Continental Europe. He is client facing and hands on in every aspect of the business and development process ensuring close collaboration with various public sector organisations, business partners and stakeholders alike. Prior development experience also includes periods working in property surveying with King Sturge Real Estate Consultancy and civil engineering with Carillion, a tier one civil engineering and construction contractor in the UK.

He transferred to Investment Banking working for ABN AMRO Hoare Govett, Collins Stewart and Fairfax IS, following which he set up his own corporate finance boutique. He has a very wide range of experience of working with public and private companies across many sectors.
